Sitri, total proper noun Sitri Eisner, is a background character in Fire Emblem: 3 Houses every bit well every bit a former nun of the Church of Seiros. She is the late wife of Jeralt, therefore late female parent of Byleth. She died shortly later Byleth's birth.
Appearance and Personality
Sitri had long, dark murky light-green hair.
Sitri was described as a kind and gentle soul, simply similar to Byleth, had trouble expressing emotion. She was frequently fascinated by Jeralt's storytelling abilities since she was unable to see the rest of the world, which all of this acquired her love for him. Co-ordinate to Aelfric, nigh of her moments when she showed emotion were to Jeralt. Sitri looked up to Rhea as her mother, making Rhea and Sitri accept an adoptive mother-daughter human relationship.
History
Sitri was the 12th of the Nabatean vessels created by Rhea to try and maniest the spirit of the Goddess Sothis to try and revive her. Sitri was a failed vessel, simply had the Crest of Flames, Sothis's Crest, as well as her center resting in her body.
Sitri was very frail throughout her life and was never able to get out the monastery, talking to very few people. I of the few people she talked to was Aelfric, 1 of her closest friends. She then met Jeralt, captain of the Knights of Seiros, eventually getting married to him and falling pregnant, giving nascence to Byleth on the 20th of the Horsebow Moon.
Byleth was born in disquisitional status and Sitri was most to dice. Sitri so pleaded Rhea to transfer her centre to Byleth to save their life. While Rhea did non want to lose Sitri, she accepted her descision. The transplant was successful, killing Sitri in the procedure while saving Byleth's life.
Her decease became a driving force for many characters in the game, including Jeralt and Aelfric. Afterward her expiry she was remembered by Church members afterwards her burial.
Withal, Rhea did not want to bury Sitri in the "common cold and dark soil" and instead took her trunk to Completeness and trapped her body in time to preserve her. The burial was a fake and Sitri's torso was not buried.
Ten years before the start of the game, Aelfric discovers Sitri's body and plans to use the Chalice of Ancestry to resurrect her by using the Ashen Wolves in the Rite of Rising ritual. In Cindered Shadows, his plan fails and he becomes an Umbral Animate being, who is eventually slain, where Sitri is then given a proper burial.
Rhea claims in Silverish Snowfall that if she did not practise annihilation to aid Sitri or her child, both of them would take died. In Cindered Shadows subsequently the concluding boxing, Rhea confirms to Byleth that Sitri'south last words were "My centre, give it to my kid.".
Trivia
- While Fire Emblem: Three Houses came out in 2019, Sitri was not introduced until Feb 2020 in the DLC side story Cindered Shadows. Before her reveal, she was left nameless.
- After Cindered Shadows is completed, if the role player visits Sitri's grave at the monastery the name will be updated to Sitri Eisner instead of a faded away proper noun.
- Sitri's age is not stated by characters in game, but if the role player visits her grave, it volition say she lived from 1139-1159, meaning she was 20 years of age when she gave birth to Byleth and died.
